Wesley Roland Sadler

Wesley R. Sadler, 79, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2022 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. He passed peacefully while surrounded by his loved ones. 

Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange and Services 10:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Dorman Funeral Home with interment to follow at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park. 

Wesley was born December 16, 1942, to Gordon and Louise Sadler in Jacksonville, Texas.  Wesley enjoyed working in his yard, and as a born-again Christian he loved helping around his church. Wesley loved animals and enjoyed going everywhere he went with his dog “Biddy”. He retired from Orion Construction in Houston, as a Construction Superintendent. He graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in 1961, and then served in the United States Marines. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sadler; Father, Gordon Sadler; and Mother, Louise Sadler. 

Wesley Sadler is survived by son, Richard Sadler and wife Brenda Sadler from Mont Belvieu, Texas, two daughters, Evelyn Sadler of Austin, Texas.   Leslie Sadler Ledoux and husband Terry Ledoux of Little Cypress, Texas, two sisters, Frances Nelson and husband Pat Nelson of Wallisville, Texas and Carolyn Franks of Cypress, TX. 

 He leaves behind ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
