William Dan "Danny" Tarbutton

William Dan "Danny" Tarbutton, age 61 of Mauriceville, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 in Beaumont, Texas. Family and friends will gather for a visitation to honor Danny's life from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 16, 2021 at the home of Amity and Howard Griffith.

Danny was born in Houston, Texas on June 16, 1960 to parents Nancy Rogers Tarbutton and Jack Tarbutton. He worked many years as a Drilling First Line Supervisor with Parker Drilling before becoming a driver with AIM. Danny was a kind and loving person who took great pride in his family. He always found time to spend with his family, whether it was a breakfast date with his daughter, Amity or having a BBQ. His family always loved getting his random text messages of "I love you" or "Send me a pic please?" Danny had a natural ability to make people smile and laugh. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and the Astros. Danny also took great pride in maintaining his yard. Danny will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nancy Venable and Jack Tarbutton.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Felicia Tarbutton of Mauriceville, TX, sons, James Tarbutton and his wife Micah of Bridge City, TX and Jessie Tohill of Mauriceville, TX, daughter Amity Griffith and her husband Howard of Mauriceville, TX, sister Jackie White of Orange, TX, half brother Jim and wife Ava Tarbutton,  niece Tracy Dunwoody and her children Lane & Bailey, step-father Doug Venable, step-mother Maria Tarbutton, step-sibling ; Charles, Liz, Lisa, Doug Jr., and Chris, four grandchildren; Tristan Tohill, Avery Tohill, James Tarbutton, Jr., and Aurora Griffith, best friend Kevin Kelly and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
