William "Bill" J. Eads, age 91 of orange, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 8, 2021. A memorial service to honor Bill's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather from 2:00 to 3:00 PM for a visitation on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Dorman Funeral Home.
Bill was born on November 21, 1929 in Camden, Texas to Mamie Josephine Anderson Eads and John Henry Eads. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1962. Bill had been a long time resident of Orange, Texas and was retired from American Bridge (USS Steel) as a burner after 30 plus years of dedication and commitment. After his retirement he delivered firewood all around Orange for years. Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a joke or storey for everyone. He was a kind and loving man who treasured his family. Bill will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Fern Ellen Eads, granddaughter Tabetha Christine Welch, parents John and Mamie Eads and several siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Deirdra Buxton and her husband Todd of Orange, TX, granddaughters, Monique Pearson and her husband Tommy of Vidor, Sarah Ferrell and her husband Justin of Orange, TX, grandsons. Bobby Elmore and Danny Fergeson and his wife Teya and numerous great grandchildren that he loved so much.
