Winnie Belle (Hardin) Bridges

 Winnie Belle Hardin Bridges, age 97 of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Vidor. Graveside services to honor her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Suddeth Bluff Cemetery in Nichols Creek. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Dorman Funeral Home.

As the story goes, Winnie was born on November 9, 1922 on a house boat floating along the Sabine River to Agnes Mae Goodman Hardin and William Hardin.  She spent her life in the Orange area raising her family with her husband Clifton Clarence Bridges, Sr. Winnie enjoyed crocheting and knitting throughout the years, but she loved just being able to spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clifton Clarence Bridges, Sr. and son Clifton Clarence Bridges, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son Joseph Anthony Bridges and his wife Becky of Vidor, TX, daughters Patricia LeBlanc of Vidor, TX, Sherry Kidder of Nederland and Catherine Bridges of Groves, TX, seventeen grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
