I was a player on opposing team back in 1979 and 1980. We lost a very important game to Coach Fountain's team. I always felt our team were pawns in his wanting revenge against his former college classmate....I suppose he got it. I tried to ask him about it one day and he laughed,,,I asked his former college classmate and he told me to "walk out of the gym and never look back." That's when I was a very niave 26 year old. I learned a valuable lesson for sure!

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I remember well riding with him to Baton Rouge to attend the State Literary Rally in history. A memorable time for me. He made an impression on me as a teacher.
