David and I knew each other literally from birth. We grew up across the street from each other until the age of 5 and then we lost contact until high school, 9th grade. From that time on we remained in contact , sharing a place to live after high school until he married Leslie. We fished Toledo Bend on the weekends. David was a Bass in his previous life because we never got skunked. The man knew where they were! We went to every rock concert (Almond Brothers, Black Sabbath, Aero Smith, Led Zepplin, ZZ Top, Jethro Tull, Bob Segar) the list goes on. Of course the most memorable was the Willie and Walon concert that because we had 15 cases of beer in the truck caused us an unexpected visit to the sheriffs office in Nacadociches. I know that is spelled wrong but you know where I am talking about. Who knew it was considered boot legging taking the Mitch beer through a dry county. Any we were able contact a great Texas Statesman, a man who could talk the sings off of a fly. I am talking about non other than than great CD May. He arrived at the sheriffs ofice and within 15 minutes he had us released with know charges against us. Of course we didn't get the beer back and I am telling you now Dave and I were both extremely stressed and angry.

I love my brother as we shared a lot of moments together. I will always miss him.

Those pictures sure bring back memories. It is good to see Big Dave in his younger days. Good times.
