Roger L. Williams, age 75, passed away at his residence in Orange, Texas on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Mr. Williams had been a long time resident of Sweeny, Texas before moving to Orange several years ago.

Roger was born in Weatherford, Texas on February 25, 1941 to the late James Williams and Anite Trollinger Williams.  He served in the United States Army and retired as a truck driver from Phillips 66. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son David Williams, sister Anita Garrett, and grandson Clint Williams

Survivors include his wife, Brigitte Williams, daughter Belinda Truitt and her husband Joe of Orange, Texas, son Ricky Williams of Sweeny, Texas. One brother, James Williams of Albuquerque, New Mexico and eight grandchildren; April Williams, Cody Williams, Candice Lewis, Misty Jo Truitt, Jagger Truitt, Brittney Williams, Nikki Williams and Summer Williams. As well as six great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
